Have you tried Dabbleboard? It's got a similar purpose but it focuses on making the whiteboarding experience easier, faster, more flexible, etc.

This sounds like a great concept, especially with the adult reviewing and the rating system for content. I doubt the county would let it through. A neat concept, maybe the county could create it’s own BCPS KidCast monitored by the county offices.

I know that if you are having a difficult time with this site, I don’t stand a chance! It’s obvious you worked hard on it (as you usually do), so it’s a shame that there is nothing much to show for it!
Considering how much we are looking to integrate technology beyond a weekly special, this will be an important component that we will all need to explore, even if it’s not using Furl.

What a great tool for our students with fine motor difficulties who struggle to use rulers and draw graphs!

I believe that once students are taught the difference between highlighting words and copying words this would be a good tool to use for research. Students in the intermediate grades at Oliver Beach could use this for a variety of research projects. The highlighting will make words stand out. Couldn’t this also be used for studying?

Although it is called Kidcast, it sounds like there would be a lot of red tape for students to use. There must be another tool that serves the same purpose that students can use and is approved by BCPS.

This sounds like a great tool to use with students. It sounds like mathematics is the subject of choice.

This site seems similar to bubbl.us which is a mind mapping site. One advantage this site seems to have is the ability to use visuals and allow others to respond.

Students may be very interested in using this as a different way to create graphs in the classroom. I can also seeing administrators/teachers using it as a way of presenting information concerning test results.

I agree that this might be a good way to communicate when taking a course rather than email. I like the idea it tells you when a new comment has been added.
